How to Save Paper Charts
1. To save a copy of the paper chart into EMR, scan the paper chart and save it as an image.
2. Go to Clinical Desktop and search for the patient. Open the EMR Screen of the patient and click on the Doc. Mngt. Pane shown in the Image. The Document Management Tab has options for Drag and Drop Files and uploading files from the system’s folders.
3. Upload the document and it gets added to the document list of the patient.
