PracticeSuite offers a Smart Search feature that simplifies the process of finding patients. This feature allows users to search using either the MR number, patient’s name, or PC Ref# within a single input field. Below is a patient field in the Charge Entry section that supports Smart Search functionality.
a. When searching by MR# or PCRef#, enter a minimum of the first three characters.
b. To search by name, enter at least the first three characters of either the last name or the first name in the field.
