PracticeSuite provides a clinical summary in HL7 CDA CCD format, including diagnostic test results, problem list, medication list, and medication allergy list.
1) Login to PracticeSuite as provider Tom Mcquinn, from the menu on the left, choose->EMR->Clinical Desktop. Click the Patient tab to open the Patient Search page. Type the name of the patient, the patients list will be displayed below. Click on the name of the patient from the list to start charting..
2) To add a patient problem, click the + button on the Problem List on the Facesheet. In the box that appears, enter the Diagnosis, Status and Date and then click the Save button.
To add a Medication, click the + button on the Medication List on the Facesheet. In the box that appears, enter the Medication and Status and then click theSave button.
To add a allergies, click the + button on the Allergy List on the Facesheet. In the box that appears, enter the Allergy, Status and Date and then click theSave button
To add a Lab test result, click on the Lab tab and click the add button. In the box that appears, enter the name of the Lab test and enter the values.
3) From the Practicesuite main menu click on EMR>CCR/CCD. In the page that appears, enter the required parameters like Allergies, Medications, Diagnosis, Lab Results, Medical History, etc. and click the Search button. A report of the patient’s Clinical Summary will be displayed.
4) Click on the Generate CCD button to create a copy of this patient clinical information as HITSP Summary Document Using HL7 Continuity of Care Document (CCD). This document can also be generated as a PDF file by clicking on the PDF icon.
► Go to the Clinical Desktop and from the Pending Charts section, open the chart of Green, Boris. Select Clinical Measures listed under OTHERS in the menu on the left. Select the CLINICAL SUMMARY PROVIDED WITHIN 3 BUINESS DAYS items and enter YES option.
