1. To add a consultation sheet, click on the EHR Advanced->EHR Admin. The ‘Encounter Sheets’ tab will open up as shown below. This is the screen where Encounter Sheets are added and edited.
The Master Details page contains plenty of options, which allow you to customize your EHR.
2. Click the ‘New Encounter Sheet’ button on the right portion of the screen. The Add Encounter Sheet page will be displayed as shown below.
3. Enter the following information.

| Enc. Sheet Name | Provide a name for the sheet |
| Code | Unique Code for the sheet |
| Description | An appropriate description |
| Applicable to Provider(s) | This is a multi-select drop-down. |
| Active | This will be enabled by default. To delete the encounter sheet template, uncheck the checkbox |
| Default Visit Type | This is a multi-select drop-down. For the visit (appt) types selected here, the encounter sheet will default on the charting screen. (Note: In case of a conflict with the provider mapping in the provider setup page, the visit type mapping will take precedence.) |
| Enable MU, Enable E&M, Exclude from MU Reporting, Exclude Auto Superbill Creation | Enable MU (Meaningful Use): This setting activates tracking for Meaningful Use (now often called Promoting Interoperability) objectives. When checked, the system begins capturing specific data points required for federal incentive programs and quality reporting.
Enable E&M (Evaluation and Management): This enables the E&M Coding calculator or support tools. It helps providers determine the correct level of billing (e.g., Level 3 vs. Level 4 visit) based on the complexity of the patient’s history, physical exam, and medical decision-making. Exclude from MU Reporting: Use this for specific providers or patient types that should not be counted in your official Meaningful Use data. Exclude Auto Superbill Creation: This disables the automated generation of a Superbill at the end of an encounter. |
4. Click on Save.
5. To edit any encounter sheet, click on the encounter sheet name on the listing page and edit the details.
