All laboratory results received against Lab Orders are associated automatically.

Laboratory results not having Lab Orders are also associated automatically using patient data.

Unmatched laboratory results can be matched to a patient’s record manually.

1. Click on the Connect to Lab, click the Retrieve button. All laboratory results not having Lab Orders will be moved to the Unmatched tab. Click on the specified tab to view the fetched laboratory result.

If the patient record is already associated with the Laboratory result, simply click the Process button.

If the laboratory result does not match the patient record, choose the Associate a patient button to associate this laboratory result and click the Process button.

2. Login to PracticeSuite as provider Tom Mcquinn, from the menu on the left, choose->EMR->Clinical Desktop. Click the Ready for Exam tab. Patients with laboratory test result will be listed under this tab. Click on the name of the patient to open the patient chart.

3. Click on the Lab tab to open the lab results screen. All the lab results for the patient will be displayed.

4. Click on the Detailed Result button to view a detailed laboratory test result.
