A mid-level prescriber must always be mapped to a supervising provider. Admin users or users with access to the Security menu can assign the supervising providers from the user setup screen. When a user’s role is chosen as “MIDLEVEL PRESCRIBER’, a new drop-down named “Supervising Provider” will appear, and the appropriate supervising provider will need to be selected from the list before saving the user (see Image 1.1.8).
This mapping can also help mid-level prescribers access the NewCrop site without any restrictions.
