The different conditions on which the Authorization is not displayed in the list to choose on a charge, even after it has been added are as follows.

1. The Payer type of the Authorization and the Payer type of the selected Case may be different.



2. The Insurance selected in the Authorization and that in the selected Case may be different.



Note: The Visit Remaining and the Total Visit Used data in the authorization screen is auto updated when a charge is posted. But before the charge is entered the Authorization needs to be linked to the case. It is advised to link the authorization to the case as soon as the authorization is added to a patient’s file.
