Claim Generation and Submission Automation
The system now supports automatic generation and submission of claims. A new option, Auto Claim Generation and Submission, has been introduced on the Billing Options page, replacing the previous Claim Creation Frequency field.
Users can configure their preference to enable or disable automation. Additionally, they can specify whether claims should be generated on a daily or weekly basis, along with the desired days and times for claim generation. Once configured, claims will be generated in batches and automatically transmitted to the clearinghouses.
Setup
1. Go to Billing options.
2. For the Auto Claim Generation and Submission, provide YES.
3. Select the frequency of generation: Daily/Weekly.
4. For Weekly, specify the days for generation.
5. Set the time in Eastern Time Zone (ET) for generation.
6. Click on Save at the bottom of the Billing Options page.
Claims Dashboard
Once automation is enabled, the following can be observed in the Claims dashboard:
* Whenever claims are generated, a toast message appears, indicating the number of professional and institutional claims generated.
* The header displays an “Automation ON” indicator. The next run time is indicated in the user’s local time zone.
Processes Being Automated
All claims in the Ready To Submit bucket will be generated, batched, and sent to clearinghouses.
