A Case is used to differentiate between the charges if the client has multiple insurance, or self pay and case drives a coverage on claim.
If the relationship under insurance screen is Child: Add the Guarantor, the Insurance ad add the case manually. If the relationship under insurance screen is anything except Child: Add the Guarantor and the Insurance. The case will be automatically created.
How can I quick post On Account patient payments? Can I use this screen for insurance payment posting?
Go to Payments section from the main menu and choose Mass Posting. Search for postings using any of the options and select one from the results. Enter the required details and click on the Post button.
In order to flag patients to stop statements for them, go to Patient from the main menu, search for the patient and select them. From the Demographics page click on Other Attributes option. Check the box labelled Do Not Send Statements and click on Save.
