Part – 1 Enhancements
1.1 Institutional Claims Processing
Institutional charges received will be successfully processed by the interface. A new parameter named Claim_Type (PROF/INST) in the charge message identifies the type of claim sent from the source system. The claim type is defaulted as ‘Professional’ if absent in the received message. Additional fields specific to UB04 claims have also been included in the claim message. All the new fields are however optional.
1.2 Ahlers – CCDA Push for Charts in All Statuses
Practices can now configure to push CCDA files on saving charts in Pending and For_Review Statuses. This is in addition to the feature being already available for Completed status.
