Collection and Denial Workbench ( Collections Manager) is a Revenue Management tool, and has an easy to work interface to review and work on your unpaid and denied insurance claims. Any unworked insurance claim that’s generally outstanding over days is pulled on to the C/D Workbench.
Why is it important to utilize Collection Manager for Follow-ups and working your Insurance AR?
Any outstanding or denied claims can be tracked and followed up effectively using the Collection Manager . The collection manager has the capability to differentiate between denied claim and no response claim giving the collector wider visibility
What reports can I see to track Collection activities?
To track collection activities, check the G3. Collector Productivity Report from Report Central.
Once you move a patient to Precollections, how do you move them back to regular status?
Go to Charges from the main menu and choose Edit Charges option. Search and lookup the Patient DOS. Change the Line Sub Status and click on Save Line.
