Steps to Auto-Post
- Click Auto-post
on the ERA Listing page. - On the Pre-post review screen, review the payment details and edit if required.
- Click Confirm and Process ERA button.
- Click Autopost on the Posting Overview screen.
- The auto-post confirmation shows your total posted claims and amounts. Click the Posting Detail Report on this screen to view the full posting information.
Steps to Auto-Post ERA with Exceptions
* This section focuses exclusively on Overposted Claim exceptions. Instructions for other scenarios are located on the ERA Exceptions page.
- Click Auto-post
on the ERA Listing page. - On the Pre-post review screen, review the payment details and edit if required.
- Click Confirm and Process ERA button.
- On the Posting Overview Screen, click on the claim in the exception list. Correct the negative balance by adjusting the amounts.
- Click Save. The claim will be auto-posted. The auto-posting confirmation screen appears with the details of posting.
Steps to Auto-Post ERA with Reversals
- Click Auto-post
on the ERA Listing page. - On the Pre-post review screen, review the payment details and edit if required.
- Click Confirm and Process ERA button.
- On the Posting Overview Screen, click Auto Post.
- The reversal will be auto-posted. The auto-posting confirmation screen appears with the details of posting.
Steps to Auto-Post ERA with PLB Reversal
- Click Auto-post
on the ERA Listing page. - On the Pre-post review screen, click the PLB Recoupments/Reversals Present.
- The PLB matching screen appears, where a payment in the system is searched using Claim #, Check #, or Payment #.
- Once the payment is identified, select it from the list and click Confirm Match and then click Done to return to the Pre-Post Review screen.
- Click Confirm and Process ERA button.
- On the Posting Overview Screen, click Auto Post.
- The PLB reversal will be auto-posted. The auto-posting confirmation screen appears with the details of posting.
