If the patient is a minor, guarantor information is necessary; only then a case will be created. If the patient is an adult, a guarantor is created in the patient’s name automatically and the system creates a case on adding insurance information.
How do you flag patients to stop statements for them?
In order to flag patients to stop statements for them, go to Patient from the main menu, search for the patient and select them. From the Demographics page click on Other Attributes option. Check the box labelled Do Not Send Statements and click on Save.
