Part – 1 Enhancements

1.1. Elation-Unidirectional Mapping of Patient Notes from Elation to PracticeSuite Enabled

The patient notes created or updated in Elation Demographics will be displayed in PracticeSuite Patient Notes.

1.2 Elation- Patient Insurance Deletion at Elation Will Reflect in PracticeSuite

When a patient insurance is removed from Elation, the date of deletion is passed to PracticeSuite. When PracticeSuite receives the deletion date, it will end-date the patient insurance using this date. If Elation adds the same insurance with identical details, PracticeSuite will follow suit by removing the end-date of the patient insurance.

When a patient insurance is end-dated in PracticeSuite, the same get deleted from Elation.

1.3 Glycare-Twelve diagnoses Codes Could be Read From Glycare

PracticeSuite is now equipped to handle up to twelve diagnoses codes sent from Glycare. Previously, Glycare sent up to four diagnoses codes for which PracticeSuite was programmed to handle.

1.4 Relatient- Appointments To Be Sent to Relatient based on Status

PracticeSuite will henceforth not send appointments with status ‘Cancelled’ and ‘Rescheduled’ to Relatient while sending them the list of appointments.

1.5 Procedure Codes Received via interface will be Saved in Uppercase

PracticeSuite follows Uppercase convention for procedure codes and they are case-sensitive. All procedure codes that are received via interface will now be saved in upper case in PracticeSuite. Saving all procedure codes in uppercase maintains uniformity in procedure code naming and will, in turn, prevent Xsuperbill errors like ‘CPT Not Found’.
