1. Login to PracticeSuite as provider Tom Mcquinn, from the menu on the left, choose->EMR->Clinical Desktop. Click the Patient tab to open the Patient Search page. Type the name of the patient, the patients list will be displayed below. Click on the name of the patient from the list to open the chart.

To add  patient problem, click the + button on the Problem List on the Facesheet. In the box that appears, enter the Diagnosis code “493.90”, Status as Active and Date and then click the Save button.

To add  allergy, click the + button on the Allergy List on the Facesheet. In the box that appears, enter the Allergy as Penicillin, select Allergy type as Drug Allergy, enter the Status and Date and then click the Save button.

To modify the patient health information, reopen the patient Facesheet and click on the data element from the list to modify it.

To delete patient health information, reopen the patient Facesheet and click on the data element from the list and change the Status to Inactive.

2. All actions are automatically recorded in the audit log.

3. Navigate to the audit log

Select patient name ” Williams, Marina ”

Screen = Diagnosis,

Section = Patient Diagnosis

Activity = Insert

select the date range and click the Search button

This will display the Audit log with details of the recorded actions related to the electronic health information.

Lists can be sorted by the clicking on the down or up arrow on the field header
