To edit the Case information of an existing patient, select Patient from the main menu.
1. Search for the patient whose case is to be edited by entering the Last Name, First Name, Home Phone, MR# or DOB (See Image 1).
2. Select the name of the patient from the list to open the Patient Demographics page as shown in Image 2.
3. Click on the Case option to display the Case screen as shown in Image 3. Existing cases will be displayed in the list above. Select the case you wish to edit from the list.
4. The details of the case like Name, Type, Status, Start Date, etc. would be displayed below. After performing the required edits, click the Save button to update the changes to the case.
Note: Once a claim has been generated for an encounter under a particular case, insurance details of the case cannot be edited.
